Remember Joy
Think back to the last time you were present in a state of joy. Hopefully, it was recently, but if not, that’s okay too. Take a short trip through your mind’s eye and remember that time, what made it beautiful, and why it’s been implanted in your memory.
We are habitual creatures, craving regularity and rhythm, enmeshed in a network of people dug into their own little cycles. When these patterns become mundane and no longer nourish us with creative energy, it can become difficult to place a priority on forming new habits or finding new experiences and outlets for joy.
This post serves as a simple reminder to remember the joy that every person so fully deserves, and to not get caught up in the things that stand in the way of it.
