Woke Chicago is a black women-led, initiative-based non-profit organization formed in response to 2020’s cries for racial injustice in America & COVID-19’s impact on communities of color. Our work disrupts inequity in well-being by creating access to trauma-informed movement and mindfulness programs within under-resourced Chicago communities and CPS schools. We strive to create change from the inside out & we are working hard to re-invent a wellness culture of impact that is rooted in unity, equity, and love.
