Introduction to Meditation Class I: Create Your Space to Meditate
Meditation is a practice of turning within to become more attuned to your interior state in the present moment. You eventually quiet your thoughts and emotions to become more aware of yourself, others and your surroundings to experience the peace and stillness within, draw upon wisdom and creativity, and foster compassion for yourself and the world around you.
In this 75 minute introductory class (the beginning of a four class series,) you will develop a general understanding of meditation and the basic tools needed to start your at-home meditation practice.
