Introduction to Meditation Class 2: Me and My Mind
Meditation is a practice of turning within to become more attuned to your interior state in the present moment. You eventually quiet your thoughts and emotions to become more aware of yourself, others and your surroundings to experience the peace and stillness within, draw upon wisdom and creativity, and foster compassion for yourself and the world around you.
In this 75 minute class (the second of a four class series,) you will learn how to calm the constant flow of thoughts or the “monkey mind” to begin to develop a supportive relationship with your mind through meditation.
